Diese E-Mail hatte unser Mitglied Ulrike an Robi Damelin von PCFF, das vom AK Shalom 2016 ausgezeichnet wurde, gesendet.
PCFF ist eine Vereinigung von Menschen, die nahe Angehörige durch Gewalt von israelischer oder palästinensischer Seite verloren. Robi Damelin verlor ihren Sohn bei einem Anschlag eines Palästinensers, Mazen Faraj seinen Vater durch die israelische Armee. PCFF setzt sich für Versöhnung und Gespräche ein.
Darauf erhielten wir eine kurze Nachricht von Robi zurück:
Dear Ulrike, thank you so much for your kind support. Let us pray that the madness will come to an end soon. We will all have to start from the beginning and we wont give up. Thank you again, In Peace, Robi.
